It has been our experience of the past, not just once/twice but many many times, that there is someone books on a certain schedule asking no down payment. And here comes the 2nd one (who is even willing to giv down payment/even the full agreed rate.) So, we refuse him because of the 1st one. Suddenly, the 1st one quits!
That's why, it's now our S O P, that we're requesting a 50% down-payment (however, we also accept full-payment) as reservation fee upon booking.
